Situated on Dorset's spectacular Jurassic Coast, now a World Heritage Site, the lovely village of Chiswell rests on the rugged, 'Isle of Portland' peninsula, and joins the mainland via Chesil Beach, a pebble spit which stretches 18 miles towards West Bay. Formerly a quarrying district, this lovely village boasts a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the surrounding countryside is well-known as a birdwatcher's paradise! With great walking opportunities available, an array of watersport activities, wonderful sandy beaches and the pretty harbour at Weymouth just 4 miles away, this fabulous holiday destination is not to be missed!

A modern, first-floor apartment, situated in the lovely village of Chiswell on the 'Isle of Portland', just 4 miles from Weymouth. With the dramatic backdrop of Chesil Beach to the rear, this spacious accommodation has been furnished to a good standard and boasts a large, south-facing conservatory and a great roof-top garden with patio area, ideal for alfresco dining! With lots to see and do in the area including great walking, cycling, fishing and a host of watersports, this lovely property provides the perfect base from which to explore this stunning part of Dorset!

Accommodation

All first floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x adult bunk. Bathroom with corner bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Spacious fitted kitchen with access to conservatory. Sitting room (seats 5) with dining area and gas fire.

Amenities

Gas central heating throughout with additional heating from gas fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer (situated in conservatory), dishwasher, colour TV, radio/cassette/CD player etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Roadside parking available with additional parking in nearby free car park. Small enclosed roof garden with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry no pets. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: Due to raised patio area this property is suitable for children of 8 yrs and over and babes in arms only. Note: An internal staircase leads from street level up to the apartment. As such, the property is unsuitable for the less mobile.

In a great position right by the beach, from which there is a lovely view, from the top of the pebbles the property looks out on to. The owner was friendly and the flat was very nice. We liked the fact that despite it being in a quiet position, early in the morning we saw the fishermen unloading their catch behind the property.
