KINLET

Cleobury Mortimer 4 miles; Bewdley 6 miles.

The small, rural village of Kinlet quietly nestles in the beautiful South Shropshire countryside and boasts an historic church and a welcoming inn serving fine food and real ales. Just 5 miles away, beneath the shadow of the mystical Clee Hills, the pretty town of Cleobury Mortimer provides a refreshing selection of shops, pubs and restaurants in an array of Georgian and Tudor architecture and a striking parish church with an unusual, twisted spire. Enjoy excellent walking, golf and fishing in the surrounding Clee Hills and nearby Wyre Forest. The market town of Bridgnorth, with its winding streets and infamous castle ruins is within easy reach, presenting an ideal opportunity for a trip on the Severn Valley Railway, while the medieval town of Ludlow, with its superb 13th Century castle, fascinating antique shops and choice of Michelin-starred restaurants is well worth a visit.
