The Cumbria Coastal Path runs closeby, presenting superb walking and nature watching opportunities, while historic Cartmel, renowned as the prettiest village in the Lakes is just 2 miles away, home to quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, traditional pubs and the Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant. The nearby Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands features a traffic-free promenade, delightful ornamental gardens and a choice of golf courses. With historic Cartmel, Grange-over-Sands and the whole of the Lake District within easy reach, this is a magical location for a relaxing break, any time of year.
