  • "Very spacious , relaxing and homely property ideally situated for exploring the island ."

The kitchen was very well equipped , and the 2 lounges were lovely with plenty of room if you had a family. Bedrooms had plenty of storage and the beds were very comfortable so all in all we were very pleased. It was an AGA cooker which operated the heating and cooking and we had to ask for tuition as we’d never used one before ! Owner was very friendly and welcoming and was more than happy to advise on places to go to if required. Would definitely recommend it as a delightful place to stay.

  • "A fabulous house, ideally situated in the centre of Anglesey and very close to the main shops and supermarkets in Llangefni."

Cae Glas is situated in a private and tranquil location with a large driveway. The house is very spacious with two large living / sitting rooms, a large well equipped kitchen and three large bedrooms, the master bedroom being huge. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The utility room also houses a large freezer and the dishwasher. The house was very warm, thanks to the Stanley Range in the kitchen, and Gareth kindly took time to explain its workings to us and was very informative about the island. Yes, the floorboards were noisy but we accepted this as being part of the character of this lovely house. The large garage houses a full size table tennis table and darts board which we found extremely useful on a rainy day. We have stayed in many properties on Anglesey and Cae Glas is certainly one to which we will return.

Many thanks for your rewarding feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed your holiday here despite the weather! Property Owner

We’ve just spent an amazing week there and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Nearby places we visited included Cefni Reservoir, Plas Newyd House, South Stack Lighthouse, Portmeirion, Penrhyn Castle, Penmon Lighthouse, Snowdon, Parys Mountain and Red Wharf Bay. The owners are super friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable about the local area. Would recommend 100%!

  • "We had a lovely short stay at Cae Glass."

The house is very spacious and well equipped for 6 people to live comfortably together. Large rooms and plenty of comfy chairs for everyone. The range in the kitchen provided us with a warm welcome in the kitchen and the bedrooms when we returned after a chilly day's walking. The garden was private and secure and offered lovely views across the open countryside on three sides of the property. The owners were helpful and left welsh cakes and milk in the fridge when we arrived. On top of that she contacted us to say we had left a charger behind and would post it to us. Thank you again for a lovely stay.

  • "Lovely spot convenient for local area."

Spotless clean, warm as toast with the range and no need in a warm October for wood burner. Constant hot water. Kitchen utensils adequate and some may think creaking floorboards are quaint but not when elderly try to creep to the loo in the early hours hence not 5 star across the board. Hosts pleasant and helpful as required without beimg obtrusive.

The property was very comfortable, with plenty of space for us all, inside and out, including a games room. The dining kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed; especially useful was the Stanley range, which dried washing and warmed the room on cooler days. Everywhere was immaculate and furnishings and linen were of a high quality. We appreciated the refreshments left for our arrival. Our only regret was the 'creaky' upstairs floor!

We have been in many other holiday places, this cottage by far was the best. I recommend you to not hesitate in booking this place, it will be a great opportunity. The surrounding area was great, 5 min away there is three big markets like Asda and Lidl. The location is beautiful and peaceful, except a couple of hours loud aircraft noise. The cottage owners Elena and Gareth are the best. They are very welcoming and generous people. They made our stay experience even more beautiful. Will visit again for sure.

The house was clean and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outside space with the garden extending around the house. Playing table tennis in the games room was also good fun. We were very fortunate to have fantastic weather during our stay so spent a lot of time at the beach. The central location of Cae Glas meant that it didn't take long to get to different beaches and the the nearby town of Llangefni had a good fish and chip shop and supermarket for picnic supplies. All the facilities we needed. Spacious house. Outside eating space in the garden. Lovely. Upstairs was extremely hot, particularly the bathroom which had no openable window. Also tog 13.5 duvet on the bed during summer is way too much. Very creaky flooring upstairs.

  • "Cae Glas is truly a hidden gem."

We have stayed at quite a number of holiday cottages over the years and we can honestly say this is the best, both value for money and what was provided. The cottage is so large with beautifully maintained gardens and has the added bonus of a games room (table tennis, darts) in their double garage. Elena & Gareth made sure we had everything we needed (tea, milk etc) and the Welsh cakes were a lovely touch. Cae Glas is also perfectly located in the middle of Anglesey meaning that you were never more than 15-20 minutes from any of the sights. It is also a a five minute drive to Llangefni which has a selection of supermarkets (Asda, Adli, Lindl) and many other shops, despite having the look and feel of a village. We only visited a selection of places we wanted to go to because the cottage was so cosy so will return and, if Elena & Gareth will let us, would love to book Cae Glas again. Five stars from us.
