The small village of Besthorpe occupies a lovely, isolated position, just 3 miles from Wymondham. The village offers a lovely farm shop selling locally produced meat and an impressive 14th Century church, while Besthorpe Hall's Tudor gardens afford wonderful floral displays. The attractive market town of Wymondham boasts a 12th Century abbey, a 15th Century pub and a selection of lovely shops, while motor racing enthusiasts can enjoy the fast pace at nearby Snetterton race track. Take a short drive to the fabulous Banham Zoo or travel a little further afield to the enchanting Thetford Forest, a haven for walkers and home to the excellent "Go Ape" high-wire adventure park. With the medieval city of Norwich within easy reach, this is a wonderful location for a varied and enjoyable holiday.

DECOY BARNS

A group of three barn conversions, situated in a horseshoe layout around a shared courtyard, on a 15 acre, Victorian working sheep farm in the village of Besthorpe. Sleeping 10 people when booked together, these delightful properties have been renovated to a high standard to offer luxurious accommodation. Each property boasts exposed beams, oak floors, a well equipped Shaker style kitchen, ensuite facilities and access to a lovely shared courtyard, perfect for relaxing with an evening drink. Within easy reach is the historic market town of Wymondham, while Banham Zoo is just 7 miles away, offering a great day out. With the medieval city of Norwich within an easy drive, with its two fine cathedrals and Norman castle, this is a great location for an enjoyable break.

The Property: Swift Barn

A luxurious barn conversion situated on a 15 acre working sheep farm, in the village of Besthorpe. Offering spacious, open plan living, oak beams and floors and an ensuite double room with beautiful stained glass window, this is an ideal holiday base. Note: This property can be booked with refs 2221 & 2223 to accommodate 10 people.

All ground floor. One double bedroom with en-suite (shower cubicle, basin and WC). Additional folding bed if required. Fitted kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and patio doors to shared courtyard. Entrance hall.

Full oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, communal washing machine in shared laundry room, colour TV with Freeview, DVD, radio/CD player. Library of books/games/DVDs. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Travel cot & highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Shared courtyard with garden furniture & BBQ, shared playing field with trampoline. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 1.5 miles.
