The tiny village of Upper Welland offers a village shop and post office and is situated at the southern end of the famous Malvern Hills, which lie on the boundary between Herefordshire and Worcestershire and are a paradise for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Peacefully located, Upper Welland is within easy reach of the historic towns of Great Malvern, Ledbury and Tewkesbury, which are home to a wealth of black and white houses, olde worlde inns, restaurants, quality shops and are surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are numerous country houses, gardens, castles, museums, railways and wildlife centres within easy reach, while the riverside town of Upton-on-Severn is also nearby, boasting lovely inns, a marina and river boat cruises. A delightful holiday location.

The Property: 19 Watery Lane

A delightful, single-storey chalet, peacefully located in the village of Upper Welland under the Malvern Hills, 3 miles from the historic town of Great Malvern. The property is situated in the corner of the owner's large garden, which boasts a pond with ducks and geese and a small orchard with fruit. The chalet is well-equipped and comfortably furnished with three cosy bedrooms and a light and airy open plan sitting/dining room with a large picture window looking across the orchard to the Malvern Hills beyond and French doors leading to a large, enclosed garden, perfect for an evening drink or BBQ. The surrounding countryside offers great walking, while the River Severn and Ledbury and Tewkesbury, with their olde worlde inns, restaurants and quality shops, are within easy reach. An excellent base for touring this lovely area.

All ground floor. Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 2 x single. Shower room with shower, basin & WC. Fitted kitchen. Sitting room with dining area, electric fire & French doors to garden.

Library of books/games/DVDs/videos. First £10 of electricity inc. in rent, remainder charged from meter. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Large, enclosed mature garden with garden furniture, BBQ & unfenced pond. Sorry, no pets & no smoking. Shop 2 mins walk, pub 10 mins walk. Note: Due to the unfenced pond, please ensure care is taken in the garden.
