Situated at the foot of the Slieve Mountains on the southwest tip of Southern Ireland, the lovely village of Annascaul rests on the beautiful Dingle Peninsula and offers a good range of shops, pubs and eateries. Benefiting from extended Spring, Summer and Autumn seasons due to the passing Gulf Stream, the whole area is a paradise for walkers, with The Dingle Way winding through the village itself and onto stunning Inch Strand, a 3 mile strip of beach offering great water sports and a range of wildlife spotting opportunities. The village also boasts a number of fairs and festivals throughout the year including an annual walking festival in October. With freshwater fishing available on Annascaul River and on Annascaul Lake, as well as sea fishing on the Peninsula and the nearby towns of Dingle with its Ocean World Aquarium and lively Tralee both within easy reach, this fabulous location has plenty to see and do all the year round.

The Property: Greendale Cottage

Annascaul 1 mile. A charming, detached bungalow, situated in the grounds of the owner's dairy farm, on the outskirts of Annascaul, 9 miles from Dingle. Located just 5 miles from Inch Strand, a glorious 3 mile stretch of beach, this cosy accommodation offers the ideal base from which to discover the delights of the Dingle Peninsula and the surrounding area. The village provides local shops, pubs and eateries, whilst walkers are well catered for with The Dingle Way passing right through the village itself. With sea fishing and water sports available on the Peninsula, freshwater fishing available locally and the towns of Dingle and Tralee both within easy reach, this perfect base is ideal for large families and groups of friends alike.

All ground floor. Four bedrooms: 2 x double, 2 x twin, additional small room for cot/child's play area. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Additional shower room with separate shower, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with open fire.

Amenities

Oil central heating throughout with additional heating from open fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD player. Fuel supplement of €20 per week payable direct to owner, all other fuel, power and starter pack for open fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot available. Off road parking for 3 cars. Large lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: Spring Bank Holiday, Christmas and New Year weeks at this property are charged at High rate.
