Jul 2008 | The owner was friendly. The cottage, although small, was very comfortable and in a good locality for us as we like walking. It had a lovely fresh, airy feel to it and the village was very nice too. Very reasonably priced for the 3 days we were there. We will definitely book with Sykes again.

Jun 2008 | Whole experience was fantastic. The village of Grewelthorpe, the friendly villagers, the pub next door, the scenery and surroundings were all first class. The staff in the Crown made us feel very welcome with their friendly atmosphere and fine quality food.
The owner is to be complimented on the standard of the cottage and the welcome pack was a real nice touch which was much appreciated. It was what we wanted and more, a romantic week-end away from stresses and strains of mundane life.
As first time users of holiday cottages, we would have no hesitation in recommending Sykes Cottages to family and friends. Thank You.
