The village houses three local inns, all serving food, and one tearoom, whilst nearby Hinderwell provides a village shop. There is much to do in the local area, whether it's visiting seaside towns such as Whitby, with its famous Abbey, or touring the dramatic North York Moors. May 2008 | Very convenient for Whitby and if you like walking this is in a brilliant location. The property itself is well laid out and presented and the bottle of wine, milk and biscuits from the owner was very thoughtful and welcome.
