A charming, stone built detached 16th century barn conversion in the grounds of the owner's historic farmhouse (often featured in Country Living magazine) on the slopes of the Cain Valley, 1 mile from Llanfechain. The property retains many original features including beams & exposed wall timbers, creating a real feeling of "stepping back in time." Guests have year-round use of the hard tennis court. With scenic walks & cycling from the doorstep, the whole area is alive with interesting birdlife. Explore the nearby Berwyn Mountains, Powys & Chirk Castles, the enchanting Lakes Vyrnwy & Bala, & Llangollen where you can go white water rafting. The market towns of Welshpool & Oswestry offer shops, bars & restaurants, & the spectacular Llanrhaeadr Waterfall is within 20 minutes drive. The perfect holiday location at any time of year.
