Also worth a visit are the town's Craft Workshops and the award winning Nidderdale Museum - a lively collection of displays illustrating all aspects of Dales life in the past. Up and downstream, the Nidd Valley offers excellent opportunities for walking and bird watching. The Property: Rolling Mill Stable A charming individual holiday home situated in beautiful Nidderdale, in a wonderful and peaceful rural location, yet only 10 minutes' walk from all of the amenities of Pateley Bridge. The property is created from the skilful and tasteful conversion of the old stable block and retains many features, including a wonderful arched window and the original mill race running along the rear. The accommodation is all on the ground floor, with just a few internal steps. The owners live in the adjoining converted mill and personally welcomes visitors. The delightful town of Pateley Bridge offers a selection of interesting shops, while the Nidderdale Museum is well worth a visit. Ample off road parking. Well behaved dog by arrangement. Sorry, no smoking. Recreation centre with squash, tennis, swimming pool and fitness centre etc 5 mins walk. Shops 10 mins walk, pub 5 mins walk. |

The cottage was clean and comfy to come home to at the end of the day. It is well situated for exploring both Nidderdale and further afield.
