"Perfect for 4 of us - although we thought it would be an improvement to make the front room a proper double with more storage space and put the bunks in the back bedroom."
Lack of wi-fi & parking is a little inconvenient. Location is good for Aberaeron and Aberystwth and we found a good pub nearby at Llanon.

"Hello, I'm not usually giving reviews but since some of the other feedback seemed inappropriate, petty and quite unfair, I'd like to make a few statements:
1."
The cottage is relatively small (not really suitable for more than 6 people) but it is very nice, warm and cosy. It has been refurbished with style and lots of attention to detail (pictures, tiles, underfloor heating in kitchen and lean to, extended bathroom etc.) and everything in it works perfectly fine.
2. It is located just 20 minutes (by foot) from the beach which is a great walk past the church in a rural setting that we nearly did every day. From there also the coastal path can be taken towards Aberystwyth.
3. A picture of the lean to is missing which is basically a small room for breakfast, lunch or dinners on a worktop kind of table with 6 bar stools (called breakfast bar in the description). The roof is transparent so it makes it quite bright even during dark and rainy days.
4. The car can be parked by the church which is two minutes on foot away but you can briefly park it on the road or using the neighbours space on the opposite side for (off)loading.
5. The original walls of the cottage are 2 foot wide which adds to the warm and cosy feel inside. There's no Wifi but this in my view helped us to switch off, give the gadgets a rest and focus on the beauty of the surrounding countryside, go for walks and recover in the fresh seaside air.
As we were there for Halloween half term, the owner even surprised us with a pumpkin and some sweets and put a pint of milk, butter and some Welsh cakes as a welcome present. Overall, we had a great time and would love to come again perhaps in summer to enjoy the outside space as well as the BBQ.

"A lovely cottage , was very clean and was lovely for the owners to leave Welsh cakes , milk, tea , coffee and hand wash in all rooms , great to have a washer dryer and dishwasher, stairs are a bit awkward if you were elderly or mobility problems and low door frame ."
Wardrobes could of done with having more hanging space , there is not a lot of space around the bed in 1 bedroom , no mirrors or dressing tables in the bedroom for ladies wanting to do hair as space was limited , parking is a bit of a problem especially as we were a family with 2 cars so had to find space on the road or at the bottom of the road on the church

"The cottage was extremely clean with top quality mattresses on all the beds so that everyone had excellent night sleeps."
The kitchen was also fully equipped. The cottage is also located well to get to and from all the lovely coastal towns in the area.

"We really enjoyed our stay, cottage was lovely very clean and well equipped!"
Much bigger inside than expected.... lots provided for the kids games, toys ect and they loved the kids bedroom. The pub Beer garden at the back didn’t bother us in fact we loved the live music and even visited a few times the food was great with lovely friendly staff. I would visit here again in a heart beat! The only thing I would comment is instructions of what to do with the bin bags we put ours out because the other cottages in the street had. And maybe a guest book so we could write how wonderful our stay was!

"Looks small from the outside but it is big once inside."
Well equipped kitchen, good size downstairs bathroom, and good size bedrooms. Towels provided aren't great would recommend taking your own , thankfully we did.
Upstairs bathroom is very small and tiled with high gloss tiles which made for numerous falls as it was extremely slippy.
Living room carpet could do with a deep clean as numerous marks could be seen, the small tv is swamped by the size of the fire place it is hung on and very hard to see if you have sight problems, which one of the party has.
Back garden is lovely however the pub garden backs on to it so you can hear music from opening till close on fine days, which was every day bar one, the live music on sat night was extremely loud and went on till closing which kept the members of the party in the two back bedrooms awake.
A folder containing all instructions for appliances, heating/hotwater and bin collection information would of been a big help rather than them being in different places, no bin collection info anywhere that we saw.

"Fantastic cottage with all mod cons in the welcoming and tranquil village of Llanrhystud."
Great pub nearby with food and entertainment. Village shop and post office has everything else you need. Parking is limited and the property is not dog friendly.

So many thanks to Yvonne, the caretaker :-)
Also she was very helpful and really nice when we had trouble with the warm water. The problem has been fixed within minutes.
The cottage is very well and nice equipped and it feels so cosy, it's like a home.
We really enjoyed our second stay at Glynmoor und would love to come back a third time.

"Just as we expected and wanted - it was a really useful base to explore such a beautiful area."
It would have been good to have a table we could sit around for meals etc but we appreciated it may have been difficult to fit in the lounge. The telly was rather small for something so high up the wall. but all in all comfy, handy and we kept. Thanks

"We knew the cottage wasn't going to be great as there were no good reviews on the web."
We knew how to read the description of the cottage. However we were disappointed in the level of comfort in the house. Yes it was mostly clean, the beds were fine and bathrooms were ok, but the lounge was decidedly grotty - very tired looking - had a dog smell, and the sofas were incredibly worn and uncomfortable. The description implies the cottage could accommodate 8 people - we were a party of seven adults, and we knew in advance that there was only going to be enough space round the breakfast bar for six people, but there were no other chairs/facilities on which remaining member of our party could eat in comfort. The lounge floor had not been adequately cleaned and there was no place in the lounge no coffee table or surfaces on which to put a cup of coffee. The TV was positioned too high on the wall so it was very uncomfortable to watch it putting a strain on our necks. The provision of the towels was decidedly stingy the towels were very thin, small and of poor quality. The kitchen was not well equipped contrary to what the latest comment on the internet description implies. Yes plenty of crockery, but the saucepans did not all have matching lids, and there wasn't a decent sized casserole dish to use in the oven, nor were oven gloves provided. The four slice toaster only cooked two slices, and the dish washer tablets kept falling out. Bathroom and shower were fine and clean as were the bedrooms.
The location of the cottage was very good although constant music from the pub was a bit trying but at least it stopped before too late at night.
There were absolutely no instructions with the cottage apart from incomplete and contradictory bin instructions. /We felt uncomfortable at the end of the stay leaving our rubbish in the kitchen for the cleaner to dispose of, but we weren't told what to do with it, and it is just as well we didn't produce more rubbish than we did. We have been very happy with the quality of cottages we have stayed in with you till date - but this one falls far below the standards we would expect. However we liked the fact we could go for walks from the house without getting in the car.
We have another cottage booked with you next July, and we really hope it is back up to a similar standard to the cottage in Glencoe, and also the one in Northumberland we stayed in. Otherwise we will not rebook with you in the future. (We are happy for you to publish the feedback, but suspect if you do, you would only pick out the good bits. But we think you may want to draw the owners attention to our comments).
