The cottage was excellent - probably the best we have found. The cosy sitting room with an open log fire was great to curl up in for an evening. The owners, were very friendly and welcoming. The views from the property and in the surrounding countryside generally were beautiful.

We enjoyed a totally chilled out weekend in the cottage. It was a fantastic cottage in an idyllic setting. The owners were very friendly, they made us feel so welcome. The facilities were excellent, could not have asked for anything more. We will certainly be recommending it to all our friends and families, and are already planning to make a return visit sometime next year.

This is the second year we have stayed at Ferny Knowle and if I go back to the area I will stay in Ferny Knowle again. Accomodation is excellent, owners are very friendly people and the area is not in a built up residential area.
