The immaculate cottages are all individual and private. They have been thoughtfully renovated to the highest standards to provide one of the finest self catering retreats in Wales. Within five minutes' drive there are many attractions, castles, beaches, golf courses and the Snowdonia National Park. The local restaurants and inns provide an extensive range of succulent dishes. Apart from the superb accommodation, the Talhenbont Estate offers a lot more to visitors. There are woodland walks along a 1.5 mile stretch of river which runs over a series of waterfalls in a ravine, with safe areas for children to play or paddle. The river is a designated habitat for otters and offers salmon and sea trout fishing. Visitors are free to use an all weather tennis court and outdoor chess for adults. There are numerous pet animals which welcome being fed and petted. Guests of all ages enjoy "The Quackery", which houses a great variety of birds. There is an adventure playground, "Fort Good", which is a paradise for children. The mild climate makes Talhenbont an excellent retreat for year round holidays. Situated in the water garden overlooking variegated conifers and shrubs. The cottage has a wealth of beams, internal dressed stone walls, double glazed latticed windows and is superbly appointed throughout. Accommodation All ground floor.
Two bedrooms: 1 x double with ensuite facilities including a corner bath, 1 x 2 or 3 singles. Shower room with shower, WC and handbasin. Very well equipped fitted kitchen. Sitting room with large bay window, stone fire place with 'living flame' electric fire. Separate dining area with polished slate floor. Amenities Electric panel radiators throughout. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV etc. Electricity inc. in rent 1st June to 1st September and charged at cost for other months. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot and highchair by request. Private garden area, garden furniture, BBQ. Well behaved pet welcome. Fishing, tennis and woodland walks all inc. in rent. Ample parking.
