Bakewell is situated within the Peak District National Park and is ideally placed for exploring this beautiful region. Both the rugged Dark Peak and the softer limestone White Peak are within easy reach, and Alton Towers, Britain's premier theme park, is only a short drive away. There are many stately homes to visit including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall to mention just a few, while the impressive caverns in nearby Castleton and Little John's burial place in Hathersage are also well worth a visit. The Property: Four Winds A warm and welcoming detached stone built cottage situated in a secluded position down its own drive, on the edge of Bakewell, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and its amenities. The cottage is built in traditional style and offers comfortable and spacious accommodation with a homely atmosphere. An ideal base for exploring the Peak District and all that it has to offer. Accommodation Four bedrooms: 2 x double, 2 x single. Two bathrooms: 1 x shower/laundry room (ground floor) with shower, hand basin and WC; 1 x bathroom with shower over bath, hand basin and WC. Well equipped fitted kitchen. Pleasant sitting room with Baxi open fire. Separate dining room. Hall and entrance porch. Amenities Full gas central heating and additional heating from open fire in sitting room. Gas cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Note: Maximum of three children at property at any one time. Pleasant private garden with sitting area and garden furniture. Shop 5 mins and pubs 10 mins walk.
