| Previous Visitors' Comments | Our second stay at Low Lock Slack and we had forgotten how good it is. It is a real home from home, a comfy and cozy cottage with spectacular views all round.

May 2009 | The wonderful welcoming feel to the cottage - fresh flowers arranged everywhere and the kitchen was so homely for an evening meal chatting with friends.
Mr Skipp, Rugby, Warwickshire
Apr 2009 | Fantastic scenery, great base to explore one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Peaceful - a great place to unwind.
Mr Keeling, Altrincham, Greater Manchester
Nov 2008 | The welcome tea-tray and home made shortbread. Lots of nice touches like plants and flowers. Lots of literature on the area. Lovely warm duvets. The warmth and comfort and spaciousness of the rooms, plentiful hot water, and supply of kindling, coal and logs for the fires. And best of all, the scenery from the cottage windows, the views were outstanding. Looking out over the valley of grazing sheep to the hills beyond, while doing the washing up made the chore a pleasure.

Oct 2008 | A spectacular location and cosy and comfortable cottage and the owners were friendly but not intrusive. Superb!! We will be back.
Mr Ray, Daventry, Northamptonshire
Jun 2008 | We particularly liked this area of the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage was charming and the log fire with generous supply of fuel for the week made it even more cosy. The dining table being part of the large kitchen made our holiday more relaxing. Ideal location for families like us, who don't see each other that often, to get together in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
Mrs Mills, Poole, Dorset
May 2008 | Well maintained, friendly & warm in notable location.
Location would not be everyone's cup of tea, some would find it a bit wild and bleak.
Mr Sumnall, Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Apr 2008 | It was a very cosy and homely cottage to stay in. You immediately felt relaxed. There were several bunches of fresh flowers in the house and tea and shortbread on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped and we felt at home. It was clean and well looked after. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. We loved making a fire in the evenings, especially as we live in a smokeless zone. The surrounding area was so beautiful and you could walk from the house. We would definitely like to go there again and would highly recommend it to others.

Aug 2007 | The CB Inn (walking distance approximately 15 minutes) serves excellent food in a very nicely decorated pub.
Mrs Meulblok, 's-Hertogenbosch, Noord Brabant
Jun 2007 | This is a very comfortable cottage, more like a family home than a holiday let. It is in very good condition and we really enjoyed our stay there.
The views are great and we could walk from the door. The location is quieter than other areas of the Dales and we appreciated that.
