The village was once the terminus of the Manifold Valley Light Railway - now the scenic Manifold Cycle Track, which winds its way through the picturesque valleys of the Rivers Hamps and Manifold. The track is flat and traffic free for cyclists, walkers and horse-riders. Waterhouses offers a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. The famous Alton Towers Theme Park is only a short drive away. The Property: Greenside A delightful stone built cottage, created from the careful conversion of an old barn and situated in a rural position, within the Peak National Park and at the start of the popular Manifold Cycle Track. The property is tastefully decorated and furnished throughout and offers well equipped and comfortable accommodation. The owners offer cycle hire and the cottage rental includes one day's free hire. The village of Waterhouses, with its shops and pubs, is only a 10 minute walk. Please note: Greenside adjoins Greenside Cottage (Ref. 629) and together they can accommodate up to 8 people. Accommodation Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin (with ensuite toilet and washbasin), 1 x single. Additional folding bed available. Modern bathroom with bath with shower over, washbasin and WC. Well equipped fitted kitchen with dining area. Pleasant sitting room. Entrance hall.
Amenities Full oil central heating. Electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, automatic washer/dryer, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, cassette player, stereo etc. Fuel inc. in rent. First £5 of electricity inc. remainder by card meter. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Folding bed on request. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking.
