The village itself has a lovely old church, two pubs both serving food and a village shop/post office. There are footpaths and bridleways in every direction and fishing is available nearby. An ideal location for exploring all of Swaledale and Teesdale.

The accommodation is all on the ground floor and has been furnished, equipped and decorated to a very high standard to make a superb holiday base. 1 x double bedroom with four poster bed and ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, basin and WC. Delightful living room with kitchen/dining and sitting area, feature arch window overlooking courtyard. A bedsettee is available if needed. Amenities Full oil central heating. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, colour TV, video etc. Shared use of laundry with washer and dryer. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Private patio and garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Shared use of courtyard. Sorry no smoking. One well behaved dog by arrangement with the owner (£10 charge per stay). Shop and pub 5 mins walk.
