A delightful cottage in a lovely setting. Always something going on but still nice and peaceful. Very friendly staff. A surprise welcome pack of milk, coffee, tea, sugar etc etc and flowers on the table. A lovely touch.

This was one absolutely super week with everything to our liking. All the staff were extremely helpful with us. It was a most enjoyable week with wonderful memories. It was so nice to have some central heating to take the chill off - it was a real bonus.

We loved the cottage's situation on the canalside, there was always something going on. North Wales is so lovely and the cottage is ideally situated to see many of the local sights. We used it as a comfortable base from which to climb Snowdon, take long walks in either direction along the canal, visit Portmeirion, as well as the Pistyll Falls.Would certainly recommend Sykes Cottages in fact, already planning for next year.

A week of peace. The cottage outstripped our expectations - fantastic location, top class facilities, and 1st class service. An ideal base, it was a home from home. Would we book again? Yes.

This is the 2nd time we have been to Dock Cottage and it is like going home. Everyone in the boatyard is so friendly they always have time to speak to you and the local pub The Telford is the same. For a relaxing holiday this is it. If anyone loves walking you could not have a better place as there are so many walks from the cottage.

Dock cottage was excellent, the cleanliness, amongst everything else, was spot on. It was like home from home, very well equipped, there was nothing that could be added to make it any more warm, welcoming, and homely. We found the location very peaceful and relaxing. My family and I had a fantastic time, Dock cottage made the holiday even better than expected, as we all felt very much at home there. Thank you very much for being available on the internet, for us to have had the privilege and pleasure of Dock cottage. I will not hesitate to look for another cottage in the near future, via your web site...
