Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk". A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Bronte Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.

The Property: Wellhead Cottage

Outside, to the rear, is a stone flagged courtyard where visitors can enjoy warm summer evenings, whilst the small front garden is a perfect place to watch village life pass by. In one of the Dales' premier locations, the village of Grassington has a wide range of shops and excellent pubs, whilst the surrounding area is a walker's paradise, offering beautiful walks. With great fishing and pony trekking, Bolton Abbey, the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Skipton all close by, this lovely property makes an ideal touring base!

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with cast iron bath (shower over), basin and WC. Fitted kitchen with separate dining area and door out to private area of rear courtyard. Spacious sitting room with woodburner and door to front garden. Note: There is a steep staircase in the cottage.
