Keep Cottage was a true home from home.

It had everything we needed and I loved how if you stay in the winter they have an honesty box for logs. They sent a great welcome pack and we loved the walks they suggested. Parking on the road wasn’t an issue. There was only one day I couldn’t get parked, so had to go into another road, bit spaces open up once the castle has closed so I could then move the car closer to home. The only thing I think could be improved was the WiFi signal bit we did have 4 phones, a laptop & tv competing so recognise we’re a thirsty family. It buffets from time so I was patient but my kids switched to 5G. Pickering itself was a lovely town with great places to eat, drink & shop, plus other great trips locally - Whitby, York & Dalby Forest.

Lovey cottage close to the church.

Parking easily available on the street right outside. Lovely decor, and spacious. Great conservatory with views of the pretty garden. Quiet location, with the sound of the steam train passing near by. Great location for exploring Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and beaches. Would definitely book again.
