  • "Had a lovely stay , however a few picky points , had to search for keys for door onto decking , found in cupboard under stairs ."

T.V. without sky card was difficult to use at first and limited . We really like this property and will probably look to stay again next year

  • "This is a great property that is really close to the sea and a great pub (which does great food) The Ship Inn."

Good TV set up, lovely kitchen a really nice cottage. Having 2 parking spaces was great as we brought 2 cars. Only thing that needs sorting is the bath/shower. Takes a long time to drain. Highly recommend this cottage.

  • "After a bad start because we couldn't open the front gate without a lot of force, and never managed to shut it again, our first impression of Seafret was very good."

However there are a few problems that really need addressing. The step into the bathroom needs a warning sign as it is quite unexpected and dangerous. It is not pleasant standing in inches of water when showering as the bath takes a long time to drain. We had to cut back brambles to access the back gate safely and the garden was very overgrown. As there was not any information about it we did not know what to do with rubbish and recycling so had to leave bags in the sun room. Also surprised there was not a hair dryer. There were good things as well, comfortable furniture and very easy access to the beach and the excellent Ship. It's a shame that the same problems were mentioned many times in the visitor book but apparently not addressed, this has affected our star ratings.

Although clean the cottage was showing signs of wear and tear especially the exterior. It would be of benefit to have some information about local facilities and attractions .

  • "The property is ideally located out of the gate short walk to the sea but the parking is tight."

When we arrived there was nowhere to unload as there was a car parked in the space and it is a very tight turning circle. As soon as I opened the gate we were greeted with bags of rubbish then actually getting into the property was another problem. The locks were stiff, French doors were open but locked from the inside latch. Took a few minutes to open the door ( had problems with them all week) and then eventually enter to be greeted with out of date fruit rotting with flies and a strong smell of dirty dog. Then went upstairs and there was toothpaste all over the sink and up the mirror. All the mirrors had young children’s hand prints and drool including the tv. I don’t think that in current times When things are supposed to be deep clean it was in acceptable and checking in and out times have been altered to accommodate this. Could’ve done with a welcome book explaining local amenities and what to do with the rubbish bin. There were plenty of out of date leaflets. WiFi would be a benefit in this property especially in current times as you need to book a lot of visits and tours online. Don’t like to moan because apart from the lack of cleanliness And door problems we had a good time !

Very clean, great kitchen, separate dining room. Crate for the dog to sleep in. Enclosed garden, back gate lead directly on to a park, through the park onto the beach. Own off-road parking spot. Although it was November the cottage was lovely and warm, will definitely go back.

A heavenly place if you have a dog as the green and beach just outside your back gate. I would like to stay we would stay there again but cant purely for the fact that there are so many other places we would like to visit. Everything there you would want on a holiday, comfortable beds. A real little gem.

The beds were splendid, and the cottage had just what we needed for a weeks break. The garden is a big bonus, secluded and private. I travel with my little dog and love Mundesley as it is extremely dog friendly. Nikki, the cottage owner, was very helpful, kind and professional. Having stayed in other cottages on this terrace, Seafret is definitely the best yet.

Rather than being told over phone before you arrive. And cleaning behind/in doorsways & furniture. I noticed cobwebs behind bed & door in lounge. I know a cleaning company does the cleaning it’s almost like they only do what they think can be seen.

It couldn't be in a better location for a bucket and spade holiday. The little ones loved it as we weren't constantly in and out of the car. The garden gate opens onto Gold Park with a great playground for kids and 5 minutes from there you are at the beach. Only used the car for a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney (Beans Boats) and a trip on the Bure Valley Steam Railway both of which we would recommend. Even the weather was kind to us!

It is a lovley little village. The only isusse we had is found it hard to unlock the side door as you come in the gate maybe needs a look at the lock. As we tended to use the patio doors to come and go just when locking up to leave we had a bit a trouble with the lock again. But that was it house is lovely and clean and have already recomened to couple of people to look at booking on your website.

The owner was very friendly on the phone with good information before we arrive. Spotlessly clean on arrival, very comfortable and homely with an extremely well equipped kitchen. Small enclosed secure garden for our dog. Every morning out of the back gate into Gold Park and onto the dog friendly beach within a few minutes. The Ship Inn also close by, dog friendly with a large garden was a welcome place to go for a drink late afternoon having returned from wherever we had been in the day. The cottage is located for various trips out to Bacton Woods, Sheringham, Holt, Cromer and lots of little villages. Highly recommended and we hope to go back to Seafret Cottage soon.

  • "We visited this cottage last Summer and, having a dog, it was perfect."

A lovely park over the back gate and just a few minutes walk to the beach. In the Summer you can let your dog off the lead on the beaches to the far side of the Ship Inn. We came back over the Easter Holidays and all the beaches are accessible for dogs (it's all about the dog!). The weather wasn't great this time so we had super days out at Bacton Woods, Holt Country Park, Sheringham Park and Blinkling Hall. All theses lovely places are only about 20/30 minutes away in the car and the walks are fantastic. Pubs and cafes are friendly and your pooch is welcome too. We would come back again.

All you need to take to this cottage is yourself .Great fitted out kitchen with great quality equipment. Lovely bedroom with very comfortable beds for a great sleep. Very comfortable living and separate dining room and we were very warm and toasty after coming in from the cold. Added bonus in the garden is the back gate opens out into the lovely park and that leads you to the beach. Lovely if you have a dog or children. The small village has all the shops you need and little cafés that are dog friendly. You are situated in a great area to explore this lovely coastal country. The owner is a lovely lady who will help if you need it. We will definitely be back.
