The surrounding area has many and varied attractions - The North York Moors Steam Railway, Hutton-le-Hole Folk Museum, Eden Camp Modern History Museum and Flamingo Land Theme Park. There's an abundance of castles, abbeys, churches and stately homes to visit, including the magnificent Castle Howard. Last, but not least, there's the glorious countryside - woodland and heather moorland, hills, dales and coast. Pretty sitting room with open fire. Fitted kitchen with dining area and door out to small, but sunny and sheltered, back yard area. Amenities Heating from electric storage heaters and additional heating from open fire in sitting room. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, TV, video etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Road side parking by cottage. Small front garden, small enclosed rear yard with garden furniture. Property not suitable for children under the age of 5. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry no smoking. Pub 2 mins walk, shop 2 miles (Hutton Le Hole), grocery shop 4 miles (Kirkbymoorside). |
