The Property: Waterfall Way A bright and cheerful stone built mid-terraced property, situated in a peaceful courtyard to the rear of the Teesdale Hotel, one of the oldest coaching inns in the area. Completely refurbished, the cottage is decorated, furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. It provides very cosy and comfortable accommodation, and makes an excellent base for exploring the many attractions of the area. The hotel will even deliver an evening meal - ideal after a hard day's exploring! A great location for a break, at any time of the year. Note: Waterfall Way is next door to 2 The Mews ref. 909 and the properties can be rented together to accommodate up to 10. Accommodation Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single (Note: Access to single room is through the double room). Ground floor bathroom with bath (shower over), washbasin and WC. Neat but well equipped fitted kitchen with dining table. Living room with leather furniture and door out to shared courtyard and parking. Note: This property is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults. Amenities Electric heating from storage heaters, fan heater in bathroom. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, colour TV, video etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Pillows and duvets provided, please bring own bed linen and towels. Cot available on request. Parking outside cottage for one car, additional parking on roadside nearby. Sorry no smoking. One well behaved pet welcome. Pub 1 min, shops and village centre 3 mins. |

Apr 2006 | We enjoyed the cottage, it was very friendly and comfortable. Good value and very clean. We loved the area - great for walking and looking at the local interesting flora and fauna. It is a very beautiful and unspoilt place.
Barnard Castle in paticular is a lovely little town. The locals were friendly and relaxed. We enjoyed the local beer and visits to the Lakes area.

Oct 2003 | It was obvious the owner had put effort into presenting this property to a good standard. The welcome bottle of wine was also a nice touch. Generally, we were very pleased with the property. It is in an ideal position for exploring Teesdale and surrounding area.
