2. Bosvena, Bodmin

What’s to love: Bodmin’s newest licensed restaurant and café, Bosvena has already made a real impression on the area, quickly becoming one of Bodmin’s favourite places to eat. Helpful and friendly staff serve fine meals, which feature as much attention to detail in presentation as they do in taste. 3. Heskyn Mill Restaurant, Tideford near Saltash

What’s to love: This welcoming family-run restaurant occupies an old 18th Century corn mill in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Diners praise the attentive service, the choice provided by the varied menu, and the friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
