Outdoor Activities in Cornwall

Cornwall is a haven for outdoor activities, where the weather and geography work together to create the perfect conditions.

Over the years Cornwall has become the surf capital of the UK, but with some of the best beaches in the world, the seaside activities don’t simply begin and end with surfing. Swimming, kite-surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and sea-kayaking are just a few of the other water sports that can be enjoyed.

And then there’s the beautiful clifftops, dunes and moorland that’s crying out to be hiked across. Or, if you’d prefer, you crossing the magnificent countryside in the saddle of a bike or even a horse, can be the best way to cover ground and see the beautiful and historic natural or ancient man-made sights.

There’s enough to see and do in Cornwall’s great outdoors to keep you coming back year after year. Find out more about Cornwall’s varied outdoor activities in our guides below.
