Feock Holiday Cottages
Imagine a stay in a picturesque coastal village, with sheltered creeks and open sea beyond. Nestling on Cornwall's idyllic southern shores, our Feock holiday cottages invite you to explore this delightful region. The village spreads out along the banks of the Fal in a spot known as Carrick Roads - and the most popular form of transport here is the local ferry, so hop aboard!
The King Harry Ferry sails across to St. Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula every day, with a journey time of just 10 minutes - and foot passengers travel free! Or catch the Smugglers Ferry from Smugglers Cottage pub in Tolverne to Trelissick Gardens (National Trust) - if 'Scamp' is with you, try the Roundwood Quay walk from Trelissick (4 miles).
Lazing about on the river in a Feock holiday home
Expect sailing, canoeing and kayaking. Crunch along shingle beaches, collecting shells and shiny treasures, then linger awhile at a waterfront café. If you're planning a stay in winter (thanks to the mild climate), watch out for oyster boats around Loe Beach and Restronguet Point.
Relish real ales, traditional Sunday roasts and cream teas in the local inn, crammed with cosy nooks and crannies for relaxation and banter.
What else? Ten minutes to Truro, fifteen to Falmouth and around twenty to Perranporth where you'll find three miles of soft, golden sands. Continue on along the coast until you reach the delightful town of St. Ives.
But you may find yourself happy to idle the days away on and around the Fal - by far the biggest attraction for visitors to our Feock holiday lets.
