Casterton Golf Course
Casterton Golf Course is located in the Lune valley near Kirksby Lonsdale in South Cumbria. From one side of the course, you can take in views of the Lakeland fells and from the other, the Yorkshire Dales.
The par 68, nine-hole course measures 5,802 yards and has been designed using the naturally undulating parkland. The underlying rock is limestone which provides excellent drainage, so the course is playable year-round. The course has a reputation for high standards of maintenance.
Casterton Golf Course also boasts a par 3 course and a driving range. The driving range is 400 yards in length and there are seven bays with driving range mats. Four of the bays feature mobile driving range covers if the weather is poor. Clubs and balls can be hired from the clubhouse.
There is an onsite café serving up everything from breakfast items to light bites and cakes to main meals. The café is open to golfers as well as passing walkers and bikers.
