Conwy Water Gardens
Follow the nature trail through the woodland valley at Conwy Water Gardens and spot a whole host of animals as you go. From pheasants to otters to hens and ducks, you’ll find plenty of wildlife inhabiting this tranquil spot. You can also listen out for the song of the woodland birds as they gather at the bird feeding station.
Fancy fishing? There are a selection of middle coarse fishing lakes at Conwy Water Gardens. These lakes boast stunning views over the Rowen Valley and are surrounded by stunning woodland. All lakes have purpose-built fishing pegs with paths leading to each one and there are toilet facilities near the lakeside.
In the lakes, you can expect to find carp, ghost carp, bream, tench, orfe, barbel, chub, roach and rudd.
The Aquatic Centre stocks a range of indoor and outdoor pond and reptile products for your aquatic life at home. You can buy pond fish, plants and equipment here. Conwy Water Gardens also has a tortoise area, with a good stock of tortoises and equipment.
