Walk from just outside of Braithwaite village to the summit for Grisedale Pike for spectacular views as far as Scotland and the Isle of Man on a clear day.

The path from the carpark just outside of Braithwaite village is easy to follow but the terrain becomes rockier near the summit and the wind can pick up. From Grisedale Pike you can return the way you came or continue straight on to Hopegill Head for a longer, more strenuous walk.
