Grit Fell
This solitary, heather and bog covered hill is nestled between Clougha Pike and Ward’s Stone and is a notoriously tricky walking spot.
The path from Clougha Pike to the west is the best walking route although walkers will still be required to cross the occasional bog via planks of wood. The fell is 468 metres high and has no defining features at its summit.
