Kong Adventure
Ever fancied giving climbing a go? Head to Kong Adventure’s indoor climbing walls and give it a try in safe and sheltered conditions. The main wall consists of a wide variety of routes, all on auto belays and is open to ages 14 and up.
The Krazy Kong walls are suitable for ages five and over and consist of 10 fun and exciting climbing challenges to attempt. Suitable for total beginners, you can just clip in and climb up!
If you’re ready to head out into the great outdoors, Kong Adventure also offers outdoor climbing instruction. Your instructors can take you to two different locations, including an abseil. You can also try your hand at Ghyll Scrambling where you can slide down slipways, dive into plunge pools, and jump off waterfalls.
If you fancy taking to the water, why not hire a stand-up paddle board? You can take to Derwentwater and paddle your way past the stunning sights.
