Penwith Gallery
Penwith Gallery rests within a former old pilchard packing factory in St Ives. It’s the home of the Penwith Society of Arts in Cornwall, which was founded in 1949, and features an array of public art galleries.
The exhibitions often change, giving visitors something new to see upon each visit. After admiring the art pieces on display, be sure to head outside and have a seat in the charming sculpture garden.
Alternatively, you can head to the print workshop and enroll in a fascinating print class! An archive is also available, where you can enjoy a look at Penwith Gallery’s previous exhibitions.
There are several artists’ studios within Penwith Gallery, however, these aren’t open to the public.
A shop also rests on-site and is the perfect place to buy a special piece of art for yourself or a loved one.
