Set within the picturesque north Wales countryside, are the fishing pools at Tan-y-Mynydd. Nestled within immaculate and tranquil grounds, it’s the perfect place to spend a peaceful afternoon.
The pools were specially dug in 1971 and have matured beautifully over the last 50 years. The five pools are teeming with aquatic life that thrives on the natural food available.
There are three fly fishing only pools and each are stocked with a variety of trout including rainbow, brown, blue and tiger. The two family oriented pools are popular for fly and bait fishing.
