Lanlivery Holiday Cottages
Dotted about a moorland parish, our Lanlivery holiday cottages offer a relaxing escape close to some of Cornwall's top attractions. The village is made up of a handful of cottages, a welcoming 12th Century inn and a pretty church.
Out and about from our Lanlivery holiday homes
Explore the wild landscapes of Bodmin Moor and the wetlands of Helman Tor, a sweeping region rich in wildlife, dominated by huge stone boulders - head up to the rocks for sensational views. Stomp along the Saint's Way, an ancient pilgrim route linking Padstow and Fowey, or the trails of the Luxulyan Valley World Heritage Site. Or opt for leisurely strolls along the banks of the River Fowey.
At the end of the estuary sits the harbour town of Fowey, jostling with yachts and fantastic places to eat and drink. Other points of interest include St. Catherine's Castle, Readymoney Cove and a Literary Centre celebrating the works of Daphne du Maurier. St. Austell, the Georgian village of Charlestown and Mevagissey are also nearby.
Once the county's capital, the historic town of Lostwithiel is another interesting place for our Lanlivery cottage holidaymakers to visit, crammed with antique and interior design shops and guarded by the ruins of Restormel Castle.
And don't forget the Eden Project, a short drive from our Lanlivery holiday properties and known for its award-winning global gardens, housed in tropical biomes amid a crater as big as thirty football pitches!
Evenings bring board games and banter in your Lanlivery holiday rental. Or walk to the charming pub, with its beamed ceilings, crackling fires and pretty beer garden.
