Just show me Lewannick Cottages

In a great touring location just five miles south of Launceston, our Lewannick holiday cottages offer rural living in a village setting with a real community atmosphere.

Check out Lewannick's delightful old buildings, some dating back to the 14th and 15th Centuries. Take a peek inside the church and around the graveyard. Children will love the play area, while August means it's time for the Flower & Produce Show. For fresh bread, cakes, pasties and other tasty treats, try the village stores/PO. Or sample local ales and home cooked food at the village pub (dogs and children welcome).

Enjoy a night at the movies in the village hall, run by volunteers and a great place to socialise with comfy chairs and tables - and there's the option to bring along your own drinks and snacks.

Attractions near our Lewannick holiday rentals

Discover the countryside aboard narrow gauge train with the Launceston Steam Railway. Enjoy close encounters with all things cute, furry and fluffy at the Tamar Otter & Wildlife Centre. Dine at the legendary Jamaica Inn, perched high on Bodmin Moor - a great stop for families with play area and gardens, as well as walkers who welcome roaring fires to warm hands and toes!

When the sun is shining there's no better bet than a trip to the north coast, where spectacular, rugged scenery and attractions await - don't miss Tintagel Castle, Merlin's Cave, Boscastle, Port Isaac or Crackington Haven, a tiny cove with unique rock formations and sensational coastal walks. Or hop across the border into Devon, a short drive from all our Lewannick holiday homes.
