Welcome to our Lancashire cottages, nestling in a dazzling part of England that's rich in heritage and natural delights.
From the striking sands of Morecombe Bay and the remote West Pennine Moors, to the meandering valleys of the Ribble and Lune and the rugged landscapes of the Forest of Bowland, this beautiful county begs to be explored. Walk, cycle or ride and follow long-distance trails, canal-side paths, or the peaks and troughs of the moors.
Play golf? Perfect your swing on Lancashire's Golf Coast, home to four internationally acclaimed links courses, including Royal Lytham St. Annes. The region is also famous for its wildlife and there are a number of nature reserves, as well as rare species like the hen harrier and red throated diver.
The colourful university town of Lancaster is small enough to get around in a day and has some great shopping and places to eat and drink.
For families, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a must for non-stop thrills - and if your timing's right, don't miss the Illuminations. Or visit one of Lancashire's animal attractions or zoos like the Bowland Wild Boar Country Park. Football fans, meanwhile, will love a day at the National Football Museum.
Of course, there are textile museums, historic estates and other unique attractions like the exquisite Tiffany glass display at Haworth Art Gallery. And while you're on your travels, look out for the 'panopticons' - a collection of extraordinary pieces of art dotted about the countryside, bringing the county firmly into the 21st Century!
