Please find below a selection of holiday cottages in Norfolk.
Here you will find cottages along the coast and throughout the
county of Norfolk, including on the Norfolk Coast,
the Norfolk
Broads and in towns like Great
Yarmouth, Cromer, Sheringham and
Holt.
A Norfolk cottage holiday promises a welcoming mix of unspoilt
coastline and picturesque countryside.
Much of the coast is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty. Expect vast sandy beaches framed by high grassy dunes and
some of Britain's finest salt marshes. Enjoy invigorating walks
with the family and your four-legged friend. Go cycling,
windsurfing, sailing or kiting. Explore amazing nature reserves
like Titchwell and Cley. Or take a boat trip and spot grey seals -
lots of them, basking in the sun. Traditional seaside resorts
include Cromer, Hunstanton and attractive Wells-next-the-Sea, while
bigger and bolder Great Yarmouth offers round-the-clock
entertainment.
The countryside brings miles of gently rolling landscape
stretching as far as the eye can see. Not forgetting the Broads,
where you can hire a small motor launch for the day and chug along
its giant maze of waterways - home to an enormous amount of
wildlife and a paradise for birdwatchers. You can also walk or
cycle along the paths zigzagging through the swampland.
Or do something different and float across Norfolk in a hot-air
balloon. Numerous pretty villages dot the county, brimming with
cosy tea rooms, galleries, quirky shops and welcoming pubs - look
out for the conservation village of Castle Acre.
Amongst the many historic monuments, those not-to-be-missed
include the Queen's country residence at Sandringham and the
exquisite cathedral in Norwich. Add family attractions from zoos to
dinosaur parks, museums, gardens, steam railways, breweries and a
plethora of places to eat and drink and your Norfolk cottage
holiday is just a couple of clicks away.
