sweeping beaches, cliff-top paths and amazing swell - surfers flock
here in season and it's a fantastic place to learn the ropes of
this exciting sport. Perranporth is the closest resort
and boasts a three-mile beach, as well as souvenir shops,
restaurants, weekly country market and Atlantic-view golf course.
Or continue north to Holywell
Bay, Crantock and Newquay, plus lots of lovely places in
between.
In the other direction are the secluded coves of the St. Agnes
Heritage Coast, punctuated with old tin mines that have shaped
today's landscape. Take a look around St. Agnes village,
crammed with eateries, galleries and craft shops, as well as a
museum showcasing the area's rich mining and maritime
history.
Just down the road from our Perranwell cottages is the
award-winning Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm, where you can sample
fruity wines, spirits, juices, jams and refreshing ciders.
And if you're into walking, look no further than a holiday
let in Perranwell, with a labyrinth of way-marked paths and lanes
weaving across the countryside, as well as the South West Coast
Path. Simply lace up those boots and lap up those views!
