Just Show Me Roseland Peninsula Cottages
If you're looking for somewhere exclusive to stay, off-the-beaten-track yet accessible, our Roseland Peninsula holiday cottages could be just the trick.
Situated in the south of the county, this unique destination is just ten miles long and around three miles across, so exploring on foot or bike is a wonderful way to really get a feel for the place. For the most amazing ocean views, simply follow the South West Coast Path to St. Anthony's Head at the tip of the peninsula.
You'll also get some fabulous views from your Roseland Peninsula cottage - some have sea views, others wonderful vistas of the countryside. Whichever takes your fancy, you'll find some delightful villages right on your doorstep. St. Mawes is the main one, with a pedestrian ferry over to Falmouth, while others include Portloe, Portscatho, Tregony and Portholland, each one offering fantastic facilities for holidaymakers.
In contrast to the larger resorts, the beaches on Roseland tend to be small and quiet - so if you're looking for candy floss and kiss-me-quick hats then think again. Quite a few are protected by the National Trust - the long, sandy strip at Carne Beach and neighbouring Pendower, Porthcurnick and Porthbeor - remaining naturally unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful.
Another reason to come here is for the excellent water sports - with anchorages and boat yards found in abundance, sailing aficionados flock here. Or try something new and learn how to windsurf or water ski.
Add a balmy, Mediterranean-like climate and you'll wonder why you've not booked a rental cottage on the Roseland Peninsula before now!
Please find below a selection of self catering holiday cottages in the area of the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall.
