Whether you opt for coast or countryside, expect stunning surroundings to explore and enjoy by car, bike, horse-back or your own two feet. We also feature holiday cottages in particularly pretty villages - think village greens and duck ponds, welcoming tearooms and local pubs, the kind of villages that simply ooze charm and appeal.
Your 'pretty' holiday home, meanwhile, will have bags of character - perhaps whitewashed and thatched or honey-coloured stone with roses around the door. There may be lots of beams adorning delightfully low ceilings. Perhaps an open fire or wood-burning stove. Fabrics and furnishings may take on a traditional floral theme or more contemporary spots and stripes.
