Just show me Welsh Coast Cottages
The Welsh Coast hugs the country along three of its sides for 750 miles, offering a heady mix of beaches, peninsulas, harbours and seaside resorts. First stop, the North Wales coast, home to timeless attractions like Llandudno and Conwy, with the magnificent Snowdonia National Park a welcome neighbour. Just off the coast is the isle of Anglesey, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a firm favourite with families and water sports' enthusiasts. The AONB status continues along the Llyn Peninsula, stretching out into the Irish Sea and renowned for its mild micro-climate, breathtaking beaches and superb sailing conditions. Continue south to the resort of Barmouth and the Mawddach Estuary, a picture postcard backdrop where the mountains kiss the sea.
Linking the north with the south is the Ceredigion Heritage Coast of Cardigan Bay, a stretch highly blessed by Mother Nature and home to bottle-nosed dolphins and grey seals. Next, the Pembrokeshire Coast, boasting the UK's only coastal National Park, numerous award-winning beaches and a host of historic castles. Add the longest beach in Wales at Camarthen Bay, dazzling scenery and mind-boggling sunsets on the Gower Peninsula...the list goes on.
