Or head for the Holyhead Breakwater Country Park for wildlife, walking, fishing and exhibitions. Other great days out include Plas Newydd Country House, Beaumaris Castle, the copper mines of Amlwch and Anglesey Sea Zoo.
And when you fancy a day by the sea, it's just a short drive from your Anglesey country cottage to the coast and you can take your pick from a range of award-winning beaches like Red Wharf, Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay. There's also the Anglesey Coastal Path for wonderful walks with magical views.
