Just Show Me North Wales Cottages
Beaches, mountains, castles, steam trains - there are so many
fabulous things right on the doorsteps of our cottages in North
Wales.
Let's start at the coast - North Wales boasts a string of
award-winning sands. Enjoy traditional seaside fun in Llandudno,
with its grand prom and pier. Fantastic sailing and surfing on the
stunning Llyn Peninsula. Have fun with the kids building
sandcastles and rock-pooling on Anglesey. Walk breathtaking coastal
paths, spotting dolphins offshore.
Head inland to mind-boggling landscapes of mountains, waterfalls
and more. Walkers and climbers will flock to the rolling Clwydian
Range, a stone's throw from the border and historic city of
Chester. Or to Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales at the
heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Or join the Offa's Dyke
National Trail, linking North Wales with South and crossing three
AONBs. Experience something new like white-water rafting in Bala.
Get muddy on mountain bikes down hair-raising tracks. Or soak up
the scenery at a gentle pace aboard mountain trains like the Welsh
Highland Railway.
Romans, Saxons and Normans - they've all been here. Explore
Edward 1's mighty ring of castles, including Beaumaris,
Caernarfon and Conwy. Learn some local lingo, frequently spoken and
appearing on road signs. Look out for choral concerts and
Eisteddfods - big celebrations of music, literature and performing
arts. Our cottages in Wales
are perfectly located for you to enjoy everything on offer in the
local area and have a truly memorable Welsh holiday.
And after all that sightseeing, indulge in a few local
delicacies such as Welsh Black beef, salt marsh lamb, sea bass or
mussels. You'll sleep like a log afterwards in your North Wales
cottage!
