Peak District National Park is a paradise for walkers, whether you

friendly cottages in the Peak District.
From the White Peak's picturesque dales to the Dark
Peak's remote moors, wherever your pet friendly cottage in the
Peak District happens to be, expect great walks from your door.
Highlights include Dovedale for splendid walking amid dramatic
limestone scenery or, for flatter walks, try the Tissington Trail,
a walking and cycling route linking Ashbourne with Parsley Hay
along a former rail-line.
Enjoy a fabulous doggy day out at the magnificent Chatsworth
Estate and explore Capability Brown's 1000-acre park. It's
a great spot for picnics and is open free throughout the year. Or
follow the trails through Stand Wood, behind the house, brimming
with wildlife and affording sweeping views over the park.
Another good place to go is Peveril Castle, set high on a hill
overlooking the pretty town of Castleton. The long distance
Limestone Way starts here too, then weaves across the White Peak
and alongside the River Dove.
From off season breaks to longer summertime stays, a pet
