Lôn Las Cefni is the star attraction, a special cycle path from Newborough Forest, through the Malltraeth Marshes and along the River Cefni.
Explore the Dingle Nature Reserve, a wooded gorge rich in wildlife, with a riverside boardwalk suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Or head for the Holyhead Breakwater Country Park for wildlife, walking, fishing and exhibitions. Other great days out include Plas Newydd Country House, Beaumaris Castle, the copper mines of Amlwch and Anglesey Sea Zoo.
And when you fancy a day by the sea, it's just a short drive from your Anglesey country cottage to the coast and you can take your pick from a range of award-winning beaches like Red Wharf, Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay. There's also the Anglesey Coastal Path for wonderful walks with magical views.
