Oozing atmosphere, our range of traditional cottages promises to
captivate each and everyone, no matter which one you choose as your
home-away-from-home! From coastal hideaways on the Emerald Isle to
rural retreats in the Scottish Highlands, Yorkshire Dales and
beyond, we have explored the British Isles from top to bottom in
search of that quintessential traditional cottage. And we have come
up trumps!
Picture old stone, charmingly wonky walls, painstakingly built
by hand all those years ago, sometimes topped with tufts of
well-manicured thatch. Step inside to a magical world of nooks and
crannies. Discover stone-flagged floors downstairs and possibly
creaking floorboards upstairs. Add a collection of classic
furniture, welcoming inglenook fireplaces and some really unique
heating systems such as turf-burning stoves. And remember to duck
your head to miss those delightfully low doorways and exposed
wooden beams!
Outside find pretty gardens brimming with colourful flowers and
shrubs - perfect for lazy days basking in the sun, lingering over
freshly brewed coffee and the Sunday newspapers or relaxing
alfresco-style suppers. Tempted? We thought so. Now all you have to
