Why Anglesey?

Attached to the mainland by a bridge, Anglesey's natural setting is hard to beat - an island of rolling landscapes fringed by 125 miles of magnificent coastline, with the Snowdonia Mountain Range creating a striking backdrop. Our Anglesey cottages are great for family holidays, with award-winning sandy beaches made for buckets and spades, shell seeking, rock pooling, paddling, swimming and every water sport imaginable. As well as the great outdoors, explore an assortment of towns bursting with character and wrapped in unspoilt scenery. For all that necessary holiday inspiration, be sure to make full use of our handy Anglesey Travel Guide.

Explore the island on a smaller scale with the Anglesey Model Village, or visit the place with the longest name in Europe - Llanfair PG for short. The little ones will love feeding the animals at Foel Farm Park, meeting marine life at Anglesey Sea Zoo or butterflies at Pili Palas. The RSPB Reserve at South Stack Cliffs is a must-see, free to enter attraction; enjoy close encounters with wildlife aplenty and sublime coastal views. The most popular places to visit on your visit to an Anglesey cottage include Amlwch, Bangor, Beaumaris, Caernarfon and Rhosneigr.
