After the success of our recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/blog\/as-seen-on-tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dog-friendly holidays<\/a> campaign, we thought it was time to\u00a0celebrate\u00a0the\u00a0whole range of fantastic properties we manage across\u00a0the nation.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve got an endless selection of just about every type of\u00a0holiday home you could possibly imagine, making up our portfolio of over 10,000 properties. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/lighthouse-holiday-accommodation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lighthouses<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/uk-holiday-yurts.html\">yurts<\/a>, <a enjoy\u00a0our\u00a0latest advert as much as we enjoyed making it.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Behind the Scenes of our new TV advert<\/h2>\n<p>With properties in some of the UK&#8217;s most beautiful locations, we couldn\u2019t wait to hit the road with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hurricanemedia.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hurricane<\/a>, the creative agency responsible for bringing our advert to life.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of\u00a0over a\u00a0week, the production team\u00a0travelled from the quaint surroundings of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/mendip-cottages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mendips<\/a> to the gorgeous wilds of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/exmoor-cottages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Exmoor<\/a>, and from the breath-taking seascapes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/cornwall-holiday-cottages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cornwall<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/dorset-holiday-cottages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dorset<\/a> to the leafy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sykescottages.co.uk\/devon-holiday-cottages.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Devonshire countryside<\/a>, to\u00a0capture a selection of our properties for the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Mowat, Hurricane&#8217;s Managing Director, had this to say: &#8220;The Hurricane team faced an enjoyable challenge on this production.\u00a0 How could we cover the huge range of Sykes locations in just 30 seconds?\u00a0 We set ourselves some ambitious targets and spent a highly enjoyable week on the road.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;High points were chasing the tide down a sandy beach, waiting for the sun to sink over a Devonshire cottage and racing against the British weather to film a classic barbecue scene.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\"
