Across our headquarters at Sykes and all of our sister brands, we’ve been determined to make a difference this year, as well as make a plan to continue going forward.<\/p>\n

What is an Impact Report?<\/h2>\n
Our first Impact Report aims to highlight all of the activities that we’ve carried out to help to support our mission. From tree planting to skydiving, our staff have been involved in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n
Within the report, we will also introduce our impact mission and outline our key pledges to contribute to reducing our environmental impact in a bid to combat the current climate change in the world and make a positive social impact on communities.<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\nStaff Volunteering<\/h3>\n
Every member of staff is given two volunteering days a year to help to contribute to our mission. This year, some of the activities involved included tree planting where we were able to plant 5,150<\/strong> trees, beach clean-ups, food distribution, and much more.<\/p>\nFundraising<\/h3>\n
Our charity of the year for 2021 was the Teenage Cancer Trust, for whom we raised \u00a326,000<\/strong> through fundraising and match funding. We took part in skydiving, hair donations, and bake sales, just to name some of the things we’ve been up to!<\/p>\nB Corp Application<\/h3>\n
Not only are we making a conscious effort to make a difference outside of the business, but internally we’re implementing new ways of working, as well as aiming to become a certified B Corporation<\/a>.<\/p>\nWe’re committed to doing better business and achieving the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.<\/p>\n
